True Story – Chapter 5: The Homecoming

We arrived at exactly 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Well, actually 3:03 p.m. Jim and I had been texting:

Chapter 4: The Billie Wimpie 5K

In January Todd and I were invited to do a 5k walk dedicated to my friend, William Wimpy’s mom’s 95th birthday. It’s an annual event, and it was hosted by none other than our local fire chief’s family.

Chapter 3: My new friend, George Ohr

True Story – Chapter 2, The Proposal

True Story – Chapter 1

I can’t help thinking of my old friend, Don Bacek, as I begin this story… I know he’d be looking at me, and sure enough would say in his  best New York accent, “Is this going to be a LOOONNNNGGG story?”’ Yes, Don, it’s a bit long, but it IS a true story.
